I feel so bad for everybody connected to the "Sixers." They have a great owner, great G.M., great coach, great players, great fans. This was the year when they were expected to form a Big Four in the East with Beans, Manny Hatty, and Beer. They're 20-36.
The Big Three all played tonight. Joel played 31' of 48'. He had 14 points, 7 rebounds.
Paul George John Ringo played 40'. Had 15 points, 7 boards.
Electric Maxey played 43'. He has an excellent stat line: 31 (10/23 (5/11) (coulda shot better))), 2 rebs, 5 asts.
The "Sixers" didn't play D tonight, Rust (RUST!) made 50.6 per centum of their total shots, only 25% from range (but they "only" took 28 long ones). Phila.: 42.4 overall, 25.6 from deep, but they kept shootin' and kept shootin' the long ball, 39 times.
I dunno. Sad times in Philly.
