This is a little more serious than the rulings of other sole federal judges on Trump actions. The United States Court of International Trade is a specialized court dealing only with those issues and this was a bipartisan, three-judge panel. Trump's basis for the worldwide tariffs, International Emergency Economic Powers Act (1977) is, even by Trump's standards, elusive. Doesn't mean SCOTUS won't ride to Trump's rescue again, but this is a horse of a different color.
