*Update. My (2nd) ex just texted me: Bell's Palsy it is.
That Ana and I were studying that as she got the text is Twilight Zone stuff. Never had anything like this happen before in my life.

Abort mission. This is uncanny. Our first, and last, Q today:
In the middle of thinking about it Dr. Ana got this text from my (second) ex-wife:
Heh we are in the ER at Mt Sinai. [2nd ex' sig. oth.] awoke with droopy eye and left side of face slightly paralyzed and [sig. oth.'s son the doctor] told us to go immediately to ER in case of mini stroke. We just got here. [doc son] is talking to ER doc now. I’ll keep you posted. XO
Amazing. Ana started reading the fact pattern before I did and immediately said "stroke". When I read, I told her to notice that the pt took herself to er, either walked or drove. which one would not do with a real stroke, and presented with "stroke-LIKE symptoms", cluing us that it may NOT be a stroke. Luckily for the sig. oth., and our question pt, if it is Bell's Palsy it resolves in 3-4 mos unlike a real hemorrhagic stroke. Gobsmacked. Ana is on her way to the hospital ER.
