Do the "Heat" really want LeBron James?

Time magazine's Sports 100 most influential people, or something like that.  An image included in the team's embarrassing, premature signing announcement.

It's always all about LeBron. Pat Riley is not groveling. Reading the tone and substance of his remarks, very unusual that he made any at all, "We talked about signing him a week ago", "I'm not going to bug Rich Paul", yes, he wants him. 

How much? 

• Enough to put up with the Indecision, with a Return of the Prodigal Player intro "unlike anything anybody has ever seen", to quote another megalomaniac;
• With everything overshadowing Team? 

Yes, I think he will cringe and bear it.

• knowing that with LeBron, with Bam, with Giannis, he will have created The Great Wall, "perhaps the most formidable front line in NBA history" (Brian Windhorst); 
• knowing that the basketball genius IQ of James and the innovation of Erik Spoelstra once revolutionized this sport with the creation of positionless basketball, the near equivalent of the revolution Pep Guardiola fashioned in soccer with the perfection of tiki-taka; 
• knowing that with even a shortened collaboration between those two another revolution, or perfection of a progenitor, may be fashioned. 

Yes, of course Riley wants LeBron James, really wants him. He will put up with all of this--if he gets LeBron. 

But LeBron has to want the "Heat" back. He should need no convincing, and none will be offered.
