Kenen, a lobbyist for the Israeli government,[21][16] partly to counter international criticism of Israel's Qibya massacre of Palestinian villagers that year.                        |

                                                                        |__The Qibya massacre occurred during Operation Shoshana, an Israeli reprisal operation that occurred in October 1953, when IDF's Unit 101 led by future Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon attacked the village of Qibya in the West Bank, which was then under Jordanian control, and killed more than 69 Palestinian civilians, two-thirds of whom were women and children.[1][2][3]

Forty-five houses, a school, and a mosque were destroyed.[4] Ariel Sharon wrote in his diary that "Qibya was to be an example for everyone," and that he ordered "maximal killing and damage to property". Post-operational reports speak of breaking into houses and clearing them with grenades and shooting.[5]

The massacre was condemned by the U.S. State Department, the UN Security Council, and by Jewish communities worldwide.[7] The State Department described the raid as "shocking" and used the occasion to confirm publicly that economic aid to Israel had been suspended previously, for other non-compliance regarding the 1949 Armistice Agreements.

...reporting has found that AIPAC's political spending has often supported efforts against candidates—mostly Democrats—considered "insufficiently supportive" of Israel. In the lead-up to the 2024 elections, The Guardian reported that AIPAC had recruited and supported challengers to candidates who had been critical of Israel's actions in the Gaza war.[16] AIPAC has also been criticized as unrepresentative of the diversity of views among American Jews who support Israel, and for aligning closely with policies of right-wing Israeli governments.[17][18]

AIPAC was founded by an American agent of Israel to counter criticism of an Israeli "reprisal" massacre. It has supported Israeli terrorism since. It is a Fifth Column except that it is not secret; it funds terrorism, but cannot be formally labeled a terrorist organization because it is not considered to be foreign. It may not be a domestic terrorism organization, but if it met the criteria, no federal statute makes "domestic terrorism" a crime. 

There have to be legal mechanisms, e.g. law suits as against the NRA, that can shut down AIPAC.
