One Philly fan wrote on fanzine, "Embiid had his worst stretch of the season to start this game, playing with no lift or life...", and "no lift" has been a telltale of Joel's late season fatigue. His health has been cruel to him since he entered the Association and is at the root of the "As Embiid goes, so go the 'Sixers'" skepticism. He's averaging 19.6 and 10, but on only 41.3% shooting. If it was most anyone else it would be chalked up to an off night. But with Joel, you wonder.
