The Association and its fans need much more from one the flagship franchises. LAL lost their third straight game last, by
37 points at Denver. Wednesday they lost by 9 in Sacramento, last Sunday by 8 at home to Memphis. A team with LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, Anthony Davis (when healthy), and Dwight Howard. LeBron left the arena after the game without speaking to reporters. “Laker” great Magic Johnson summed it up after the game:
"We as Lakers fans can accept being outplayed but we deserve more than a lack of effort and no sense of urgency. Owner Jeanie Buss, you deserve better."
Magic is urging Buss to do something. That something should be firing head coach Frank Vogel. What else are you going to do? The “Lakers” have slipped a gear all season. Before this skid they had won four in a row. They always slip back. They are 21-22 past the halfway point. It’s embarrassing. Inexcusable.
