Manuel leaves, as did his predecessor, Roberto Mancini, with the immense gratitude of all City supporters.
If Pep does have such an escape clause in his contract he could still come to Manchester of course. He could manage the Manchester club that qualifies for the Champions League, United. Beat me, whip me, thank you.
