Why do the Winnipeg "Jets" suck?
I don't know.
They have always sucked, this latter day instantiation of them. They took flight as birds, "Thrashers," in Atlanta. Sucked as "Thrashers." Then flew True North as "Jets." I was so happy for Winnipeggers when they got another NHL franchise and they have supported them to the hilt, but in five full seasons in the 'Peg they have finished 11th, 9th, 11th, 7th and 12th in their conference and have made the embarrassingly generous NHL playoffs once, in that stellar 7th place year, and were promptly grounded by a flock of "Ducks." So far this year they are 12th. That is pathetic. J-E-T-S! SUCK! SUCK! SUCK!
