"Fear" II

Somebody explain to me why John Kelly is not the Times op-ed writer, why Kelly is not the Bedminster Whisperer, it is so clear to me and yet nobody mentions him. Most importantly, TRUMP doesn't suspect him!The Whisperer and the Writer are the same person. The Whisperer whispered to Maggie Haberman and Michael Schmidt of The New York Times. The Writer's op-ed piece was published in The New York Times. Kelly is Machiavellian, he is Salierian, he is duplicitous and amoral.

How hard is that, Trump? How hard is it to connect two dots? I even thought, "That is too obvious. It would be very dangerous for the Whisperer to become the Writer. That must be what professional pencils think", but approach it logically: The entire universe of who the Writer is is confined to who was at the Bedminster Adult Day Care facility that day. Trump, you moronic lowlife, how many staffers did you have there that Saturday? Twenty? Twenty sounds like a lot but just to not underestimate, let's say 20. Immediately knock off the women because I am convinced to a moral certainty that the Writer, i.e. the Whisperer, is a guy. I don't know, knock off five. That leaves you a universe of 15. That is not a very well-populated universe, Trump! Sometimes the most obvious answer is the correct answer. How did Woodward, Woodward!, refer to Deep Throat in his notes of conversations with him? "MF." Deep Throat's name was Mark Felt. "My Friend," Woodward would say the initials stood for. "Gee, I don't know, could be anybody. Bob's got a lotta friends." Nobody put it together. Trump is thick enough to not suspect Kelly. But what of Conway, Sanders, whoever else was there that weekend. Have they never thought it through "just among us girls?" Are they just as clueless as their boss? I do not know professional pencils to be a gullible lot but MG! (My God!) Anyway, the Whisperer demonstrated his bona fides to Haberman and Schmidt and they demonstrated theirs back to him. The Whisperer was never outed (just like Felt was never outed). Once two-way trust was demonstrated, the op-ed was a natural next step and the Whisperer became the Writer. Duh. DUH.
...
I am now 77% done with "Fear" and I cannot believe how heavy the reliance is on Rob Porter. Nobody ever heard of Rob Porter before the revelations that he had punched out two wives and was fucking Hope Hicks. There are a lot of deep throats in "Fear" but Porter's is one of the deepest. He was the STAFF secretary not the goddamned CHIEF of staff. It's a little weird isn't it that so much of this insider's look at Trump in the White House is based on a guy disgraced and on the outside. I keep waiting for his disgraced firing and on page 274 it hasn't happened yet.
