Today is the ninth anniversary, I read it in the Deseret News, of all places, which must make it truly iconic, of this moment in NBA and Miami "Heat" history:
It's on hoodies, tee shirts, bed spreads, all get out.

Did not know it was all that.

Those two guys were soo intelligent and knew each other so well that they could reach the other’s mind and pull off this Globetrotter stuff. You watch these things in real time and until the final act it looks too fast for thought to have gone into it. But as these plays were developing LeBron’s and D-Wade’s minds were going even faster. They were entirely aware of where the other was on the floor and when the precise moment had arrived for the finish. Here is another, nearly identical, play with D Wade adopting a non-nonchalant “Whatever, man. I ain’t gotta look. This just what we do.”
Look at the other team from Parts Unknown, all five of them, just standing and watching. “Nothing we can do man.”

The wing spread fly away is D Wade’s favorite photo of the two of them together and I understand why. To play with your best friend, who you always dreamed of playing with, and the utter joy of the wing spread is rarefied. But I can’t experience it on the personal level that they could. For me as a common fan, my fave is this fan-tastic one in Madison Square Garden against the “Knicks”.

Ref be like, “I’m getting myself outta heah!”

Those two were sick together.
