STOP! THIS IS ALL WRONG!

Then do not contain the virus! The cure is worse than the disease! What are you doing? Businesses and offices, restaurants and stores, all should stay open. Travel should resume, social integration should occur, not "social isolation." People should go on about their lives. Some of us will get this flu, as some do every year; some of us will die of this flu, as some do every year. To stop some of us from getting the flu governments are giving all of us pneumonia! STOP IT!

Ladies and gentleman, government is causing "enormous economic disruption" to contain a viral outbreak of...THE FLU. It is government that is encouraging and then enforcing the social isolation; government that is bringing daily social and economic life--all over the world!--to a halt. We are cutting off our nose to spite our face. I will obey all laws; I will follow NO "guidelines," NO "recommendations" that restrict my participation in social and economic life. I REFUSE to be a part of this government-caused crisis.
