I wrote last night that Erik Spoelstra seemed to have gone into the game with the strategy of outshooting Boston, beating them at their own deep game. I still think that after studying just half of the 1st quarter. The "Heat's" spacing was, to me, too wide, there was too much space. Bam had had great success muscling inside and he has not done that through what I have watched. Even at half time Erik's strategy worked by the scoreboard. I don't know exactly what happened in the second half since I haven't watched it but I can imagine that JoeMaz and the players thought during the break, "We can beat them at this!" And if that is what happened, of course they did.
