I deactivated my Twitter account. It will be deleted unless I log in again in 30 days. It was getting too weird. I had like 11 followers, half of which were, apparently, young women. I asked my kids, "Does Twitter double as a dating site?" My daughter responded that there are a lot of bots, porn sites and "compensated dating", i.e. prostitution, come-ons. My son added that even clicking on such sites can infect your device. I got two more of these "followers" today and decided enough.
