Ana, Eleven, and I studying together.

"did i just watch tyler herro decline the wide open layup for a 3"
It was a bad look. He missed, Male Cows went the other way and made a three, putting the game out of reach.
Was Tyler's decision to take the three stupid? There were 45" left; we were down five. We needed a three and a two to tie. He had a "wide open" two--and he also had a wide open three! He took the wide open shot that offered the most points in the shortest time. It was a bad look, it snuffed out any hope of a win, but it was not stupid.
...this was the night when Doncic became a Laker. His team totally was devoted to uplifting him and protecting him and rallying around him. It was not a hostile environment, obviously, and that made it feel different than other players in "return" games. But that didn't mean Doncic wasn't vulnerable. It was the most vulnerable he has ever been in his basketball career, and he knew it. He knew it in the same way he knew to ask for a towel when the pre-tipoff video started playing because he knew how he would respond to it. And the Lakers collectively experienced a performance that absolutely elevated their bond as a team.
Doncic is still going to have a temper; he's still going to curse out referees and fans. But his connection with his team is what changed Wednesday night. He felt it, too, when he told ESPN's Lisa Salters on the floor after the game, "It's time to move on."
...
...it was potentially a foundational moment to build from, one that could be remembered as a crucial building block to bigger moments in the Lakers' future.

"Luka drops 45 point masterpiece" is the Espo chyron to vid highlights
La-La Lu-Ka won comfortably in the icon's return to D, 112-97. 8 rebs, 6 asts, 4 steals rounded out his very full, very impressive stat line. LeBron had 27.
For the "Mavericks", for villain Nico Harrison, and for their fans who had their souls ripped out, it was a humiliation at home. Anthony Davis had 13 and 11, his points more than doubled by N Marshall.
Dallas (38-42) is guaranteed a losing record a year after making the NBA Finals. (AP)

DIRE WOLVES CHOKED ON VENISON , COUGHED UP 24-POINT 4Q LEAD IN LOSS TO OLD MILWAUKEE!😁
MILWAUKEE -- Regular-season defeats don't get much more brutal than the one the Minnesota Timberwolves suffered Tuesday.
...
Minnesota blew a 24-point lead by getting outscored 39-8 in the final 10 minutes of a stunning 110-103 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks that ended a five-game winning streak.
The Timberwolves, who started the game in a four-way tie for fifth place in the West, are now alone in eighth.

Declan Rice scored in the 58th and 70th and M. Merino in the 75th. Now in the 84th. Madrid are going to have a devil of a time in Spain overturning this pasting!

There are no bad days studying. The rain was off and on but D-2 was on all day. We did 23 UWorld questions, knocking off ~2 pm. I saw Ana learn before my eyes. She took detailed notes and has a steel-trap memory. The questions got repetitive--because Ana was so studious she remembered from earlier similar questions. She did her due diligence on every question. "I'm amazed at you," I said. "I'm amazed at myself!"
We had a humorous moment courtesy of UWorld. The Q's are right from prior exams. But since UWorld teaches, they provide explanations after you've answered. You can imagine with as difficult as the exam is, they're just explanatory of all of the peospective answers, why the correct one was correct. why the others were incorrect. But on one question their explanation was...pointed.😂
I'm glad we got that one right!
“The match has been decent but not particularly entertaining,” says Peter Oh. “Bland shirt sponsor uniformity doesn’t help. The home team’s shirt: Fly an airline. The visitors’: Fly the same airline. Boring!
“I liked these teams better when it was Sega versus Teka.”
Or even Siemens v O2, as it was when they met in 2005-06. A more innocent time!

Thank you, Peter. Thank you, Guardian. Do you know Jo?
