New Florida coach Billy Napier plans to hire an "unprecedented" support staff, he said Sunday.
Napier had close to 40 analysts [!!!!] at Louisiana-Lafayette and could end up with even more in Gainesville. In addition to a $7.5 million annual budget for 10 assistants, Napier got a $5 million pool to build a support staff that includes analysts.
You had almost 40 'analysts' at Lou-La? CUZ YOU DIDN'T KNOW WFT YOU WERE DOING!
"We're going to hire an army of people here. We're going to create an infrastructure not only in the personnel department but also from an on-campus recruiting, creative media, name, image and likeness. We've got a great vision for the organization that we're going to create here."
Napier's scheme might have a few wrinkles.
"Well, we're going to try to be different. We're going to try to put our personality, our spin on it, our brand in recruiting. We're the University of Florida. ... It's going to take some time. I did learn a lot. There's no question we'll apply that here."
It’s gonna take some MONEY sonny, forget the time. MULAH! This motherfucker is a snake oil salesman and Scott Stricklin just bought an 18-wheel semi's load of it.
"He gives such a compelling reason to why these things are going to help make the Gators better," Stricklin said. "It's not just, 'Hey, we need this because.' It was, 'We need this because' and then he goes through a detailed plan of what the pieces are, how they fit together and why that's going to matter."
SEE?! "We need this because" and then BillyNap shock & awed him with "infrastructure" and "creative media" and Stricklin’s eyes started rolling in the back of his head. lol
"When someone can explain why they need resources, it makes it really easy to want to invest in that."

email stricklin re why i need "resources", e.g. big family, lotsa friends. mention "infrastructure", high tech, SoMe, “culture” (use “CULTURE”). “Want to create 'gatorverse', holistic (use "holistic"), worldwide football-enrichment universe. "Will create 'Gate-ter' (“gator” “gateway”), a FU-based Twitter/SoMe “platform” to unite world in blue and orange.”
Napier signed a term sheet Sunday that outlines key points in his seven-year, $51.8 million contract. lol
"The market is what the market is, unfortunately," Stricklin said. Hohoho "Here's the thing: If Billy's as successful as I think he's going to be…
As you think he's gonna be?! Stricklin's already having doubts.
...we're never going to have to have a conversation about buyouts. But, obviously, those things are in there for a reason."
Scott, what is your buyout?
[Napier] called Florida's offer "the right place at the right time, with the right people and the right leadership."
I bet! It'd sounds right...all those rights...to me too!
It could end up being a lot of people, too.
OMG STRICKLIN YOU ASS! Even the AP writer of this article is smelling the horse manure coming from BillyNap’s pores.
But the Gators are close to opening an $85 million football facility that will be able to house a much larger work force.
"We might have to go build some barracks, right?" Stricklin said jokingly.
Haha, Scott, you're so funny haha. Bruh, serious as a heart attack--WHICH YOU’RE GOING TO HAVE OVER THIS--now: You’re going to need the Army's BUDGET to meet this guy’s demands. Scott, what do you think’s gonna happen when BillyNap’s “vision” takes more than the “some time” that he says it will? What is the universal cure-all of all “visionaries”? 💰. 💰, 💵, and more 💰 . “We're the University of Florida”, it’s going to be the “We’re the Billy Napier University of Florida at Gainesville” ‘fo this cat is done scratching and clawing.
“He has the right vision. He's the right person. I love the character that he displays, the humility he displays, THE HUMILITY! LOL. but he also has a plan. He's very thoughtful. He knows what's he doing there."
Stricklin is trying to convince himself and it's making him nauseous; he's realizing he just bought BillyNap's buncha hokum and he, Stricklin, is going to be made a laughing stock of the sports universe forever and a day.
