I just saw (followed on my computer) one of the most heroic defensive stands in the SEC championship game, Georgia vs Texas. Georgia WB Carson Beck took off on a 41-yard gallop to set the "Dawgs" up deep in the Texas burnt orange zone. Georgia couldn't punch it in, which would have effectively ended the low-scoring affair. Three plays and finally a first down inside the Texas 10. Three more plays and UGA settled for a field goal, technically (Tex. hasn't scored a TD) keeping the "Longhorns" in the game 13-6.
