NEW YORK -- After a quiet performance from Pascal Siakam in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference finals, the Indiana Pacers entered Friday night's matchup against the New York Knicks determined to get [Pascal Siakam] more involved in the offense.

I don't know why this would be the case but I get the impression that Indiana could choose Johnny Furphy to speak loudly and the "Knicks" would have had no answer. As that Fresca guy on social media wrote last night, when different players are beating you in different games, the preparation is a step behind.

It worked from the opening tip.

Siakam rattled off Indiana's first 11 points, scored 17 in the first quarter overall and finished with a playoff career-high 39 points...The performance helped silence the crowd at Madison Square Garden...

"We just kept feeding him..."--Tyrese mf Haliburton

They just kept feeding him chopped Bockers! Chris Herring's article: KAT couldn't guard him--or anybody else--Thibodeau took him out!; NY's starters---the entire fucking starting lineup!--are minus-whatever. This fucking team is LOADED, they won 51 games this season, and they look like the "Heat" against the "Pacers".

"He was the guy that got us going and got us through some difficult stretches," Pacers coach Rick Carlisle said.

He sure did! He had Indy's first eleven points, 17 in the first quarter!
