Chapter four ends as well as it began-Quite differently than it began! Hoo-doggie.-I tell you, I have never read such writing. It is near-perfect. That chapter is, as Professor Bloom says of the entire book, a work of "genius." The first three chapters, not so much. Little poopy I thought.
In an earlier post I registered some mild, oblique, maybe I hedged enough that nobody caught it, disagreement with the judgment rendered by Professor Bloom on Blood Meridian. All is forgiven!
