OH-HI-O!

#3, or as Dumbo would have it, #11 Ohio State blew ‘em out. 49-28 the final. It was 49-21 in the 4th. This is a game everyone in the state of Ohio will rejoice in. Justin Fields was other-worldly. 22/28 for 385 yards, 13.8 per, six touchdowns and that lone (bad) interception. Fields was daring, he threw vertically, he had completions of 56 yards, 47 yards, 45 yards, 34 yards and 26 yards. My God what a game Justin had. Trey Sermon had an MVP game if he hadn’t been playing with Justin, 193 yards on 31 carries, 6.2 per, and a TD.

Presumptive Heisman Trevor Lawrence had very good stats, 33/48, 400, 2 TD’s, one INT, and one fumble, but Trevor wasn’t a difference maker tonight. Only 8.3 yards per attempt. Ohio State’s defense completely shut down Clemson’s star rusher Travis Etienne, 32 yards on 10 carries. Cornel Powell had a great game catching the ball for Clemson, 8 catches for 139 yards and two TD’s. Chris Olave caught six balls for 132 yards and two TD’s for OSU.

The game is played between the lines, the coaches don't play, yeah yeah yeah. Justin Fields won the game for OSU, no doubt, but Dumbo Swinney lit the fire and Fields and Ohio State fashioned it into a blow torch that blackened and blew out Dumbo’s team.

The championship game will be Alabama and Ohio State. Bama has three Heisman candidates. They have Nick Saban. Nick is satan but he’s not dumb. He’s not going to blow Ohio State up into a human torch. Ryan Day is an excellent coach. Can Fields repeat rhis performance? Dude, nobody will ever repeat this performance. Alabama will be installed the favorite, 7 sounds about right to me, and I predict Alabama will win...But don’t tell Ohio State that.

Good night.
