This time Scott Frost started a new QB, Logan Smothers, in place of the injured Adrian Martinez and Logan Smothers led the team to a 21-6 lead with 5:54 left in the third quarter…and then Iowa outscored the “Huskers” 19-0 in the 4th. Iowa 1) Blocked a punt (TD) 2) Recovered a fumble (no points) 3) Got a safety on intentional grounding by Logan Smothers (2 points) 4) Kicked a field goal (3 points) to tie the game at 21 5) Forced a three-and-out 6) Scored the game-winning TD on the change of possession with 2:43 to play 7) Intercepted Logan Smothers on 2nd and 10 at the Iowa 2-yard line with :43 left 8) Ran one play and then took a knee to run out the clock.
