Drug Drop

My son and his new wife began their honeymoon weekend on the evening of October 6 at the Eden Roc hotel on Miami Beach. Late at night while Ana slept Garman went out onto the balcony to shoot pictures of the “Honey Moon”, a past time of his and mine, with his professional Canon. As he was focusing a plane flew across the camera lens. Just then the plane door opened and Garman clicked the shutter. A suitcase-sized package was pushed out of the bay door and fell and splashed into the Atlantic Ocean below. Garman put the camera down. In the water five (to throw off pursuit) go fast boats boats converged on the package. One of them scooped the suitcase up and then all five sped off as quickly as they had appeared in five different directions. There was no pursuit, the gendarme was completely unaware of the incursion into United States airspace. The Coast Guard was oblivious. For the drug runners it was mission accomplished.
