Eight Democratic senators broke party solidarity to give Trump a win on reopening the government without an agreement to extend Obamacare. The Senate will vote tonight and then the measure will go to the House. Speaker Mike Johnson would not even agree to hold a vote on extending Obamacare.
[House minority Leader Hakeem] Jeffries said House Democrats are considering a discharge petition related to the Obamacare subsidies but declined to provide specifics on the plan.

This comes as Speaker Mike Johnson refused to commit to holding a vote on the ACA subsidies.
...There are several House Republicans who have advocated for a one-year extension of the ACA tax credits. It’s unlikely Johnson would support this effort.
