Good grief. At about 2 p.m. yesterday a white limousine sped down a hill in Schoharie, New York, failed to stop at a notoriously dangerous intersection, caromed off an unoccupied parked vehicle, killed two pedestrians, and ran off the road into a gulley. All eighteen people in the limo were killed. Twenty total killed!

                                                                 The intersection.

The limousine at final rest. Limos are not safe, man. Only the driver and front seat passenger are required to wear seat belts so in a crash the other occupants become human projectiles hurtling into the nearest object at, in this case, 60 mph. THAT is going to kill you.

The limo's tracks going off the road.

NTSB investigators over the gulley with limo removed.

Deadliest motor vehicle crash in the country since 1999. Good grief.
