Ballers and non-ballers alike there is a story that is metastasizing tonight in the men's college game. Little St. Peters, who I don't know how the hell they even got into this tournament, losing 11 times in their shit league to the likes of St. Francis of BKLYN, Stony Brook, Iona twice and Siena twice and losing their last two before they were selected (as the 15th seed (out of 16)) in their region, shocked two-seed Kentucky in the round of 64, upset seven-seed Murray State in the round of 32, and tonight knocked off three-seed Purdue to become the first 15-seed in the modern history of the NCAA tournament to advance to the Elite Eight. They will play the winner of No. 4 UCLA and No. 8 North Carolina. Goodness gracious and all praise to the Struttin' "Peacocks." of St. Petes. My word. What a run those little guys have had.
