'Arry the Elk 'Ornet finnin' be sippin' the coca-cola next season.

Como? I thought 'Pool had a one-point lead bef...Oh no, that was having played an extra match. City won their game in hand...Wait, yes, City won their game in hand but that would have put them two points ahead. Now today's match, another win, would have put them 5 in front. Instead it's four. (????)

I don't know. I've checked both Google and the official Premier League table and both have City 4 ahead pending tomorrow's derby vs Everton.

Arsenal thrashed Manchester United 3-1 today at SoFi to take control of the fourth and final qualifying spot for the Champions League next season. Tottenham, fifth, just lost to Brentford. The "Gunners" are two points ahead on 33 matches played.

United's about done. They appointed yet another manager this week, their 7th or 8th since Ferguson left. At the moment they're sixth, the last spot for the Europa League qualifiers. Even that is precarious. They lead 7th West Ham by two points but the "Hammers" have a match in hand. Goodbye United!
