Of course, you may stand on the sidelines, which is taking a stand that you don't care enough to be for or against Israel. The victors write history. That has been the adage for over a century at least. Israel clearly is winning the body-count war. It is a first-world leader in starvation. Thus Israel uber alles may be a safe stance if you want to cut your risks. But avoid rashness. Israel is losing the battle for world public opinion and we are late in futures trading. Anti-This Israel has big mo, and the moral high ground. In my adult lifetime Israel has never been such a pariah. It could win the body count and yet become even more hated than it is. Or ever has been in my memory. Let your conscience guide you, not whether you win your bet.
