Beans -8. 'Bout the same as it was for G1 and G2. I woulda thought Vegas would be mindful of Beans' struggles at home. Seems they were more impressed by the G4 rout. "Heat" will win.

It was written in the stars somehow. It was just meant to be. And now: I will be the first: We will beat either Dallas or Vegas and WIN the Stanley Cup!!!
Ja Morant is seriously fucked up.
π Holy mackeral! Stellar G4 in Sunrise!
π³️ evened at 2:51 2P and then π regained the lead seven minutes later. Now at 12:25 2P it’s still 3-2. π
Let’s Go π!
Wow. Surprised.
Ukrainians Were Likely Behind Kremlin
Drone Attack, U.S. Officials Say
U.S. officials said the drone attack on the Kremlin earlier this month was likely orchestrated by one of Ukraine’s special military or intelligence units, the latest in a series of covert actions against Russian targets that have unnerved the Biden administration.
...
U.S. officials say their level of confidence that the Ukrainian government directly authorized the Kremlin drone attack is “low” but that is because intelligence agencies do not yet have specific evidence identifying which government officials, Ukrainian units or operatives were involved.
The attack appeared to be part of a series of operations that have made officials in the United States — Ukraine’s biggest supplier of military equipment — uncomfortable. The Biden administration is concerned about the risk that Russia will blame U.S. officials and retaliate by expanding the war beyond Ukraine.
DeSantis would be an embarrassment to the state of Florida would that be possible
DeSantis launches GOP presidential campaign in Twitter announcement plagued by glitche
The audio stream crashed repeatedly, making it virtually impossible for most users to hear the new presidential candidate in real time.
...DeSantis tried to take a page out of the playbook that helped turn businessman-TV celebrity Trump into a political star.
It did not go as planned.
The online event started off with technical glitches that Musk said were due to “straining” servers because so many people were trying to listen to the audio-only event. More than 20 minutes passed beyond the scheduled start time with users getting kicked off, hearing microphone feedback, hold music and other technical problems.
“You can tell by the mistakes that it’s real,” said Musk.
I wrote last night that Erik Spoelstra seemed to have gone into the game with the strategy of outshooting Boston, beating them at their own deep game. I still think that after studying just half of the 1st quarter. The "Heat's" spacing was, to me, too wide, there was too much space. Bam had had great success muscling inside and he has not done that through what I have watched. Even at half time Erik's strategy worked by the scoreboard. I don't know exactly what happened in the second half since I haven't watched it but I can imagine that JoeMaz and the players thought during the break, "We can beat them at this!" And if that is what happened, of course they did.
Mid Air
Jimmy up high on the right wing. Bam, drawing The Coach with him preps to set a pick. green white eying Max, not sure what Max is doing. Could be a modified Jimmy iso. Kevin tilts to the left
Bam sets the pick on brown turd. The Coach sees it and thinks he is ready to take Jimmy.
Jimmy has no choice along the baseline and Hatem sees that he has no choice. He deflects the pass and it goes off Max for a t.o. Good defensive awareness by Hatem.
D-FENCE
The "Celtics" defense is a marvel to see. In soccer this would be called a high press. The parts communicate as one. See Smart directing the veep to mind Gabe. Bam setting a high pick. NOBODY in white even inside the arc, much less the paint!
Jimmy about to hand off to The Composer. Hatem switches frictionless.
Jimmy in mid-air decides to pass to Max, just in the picture now. I have seen these mid-air decisions repeatedly in this series. I don't think they are designed plays, I think it's random basketball. Hatem and green white see what Jimmy is doing and Hatem immediately peels off to close.
Three Second Rule
An offensive player cannot be in the lane for more than three continuous seconds while their team has control of the ball. This count begins when the offensive player enters the lane...
Five Seconds
The Coach, obscured by Kevin, in the lane at 9:47.
Still in the lane at 9:42.
Snippy
I made it all the way through 15" of π₯--☘ G4 before I got snippy.
The restricted zone is walled off by the Green Monsters as The Composer launches the first shot of the game. That was a miss. Guess which team got the rebound? Now, there is an offensive team 3-second rule, I understand. At this precise second however, white jerseys should be crashing the boards.
Like the Mean Green are doing here on their first shot, also a 3. Hatem is already in the zone, the veep is headed that way.
The "Heat's" second possession and shot. Lovey Dovey Turtle Dovey cans this trey but again, at the moment when Kevin is in his shooting position every Heater is beyond, on or just inside the arc. If Kevin had missed it would have been Green rebound.
The beginning of the "Heat's" next possession looks identical to those of its first two--wide open spaces
Finally, Miami's next possession. Look at Boston's D! Three guys aggressively pursuing any white shirt who dares set up behind the arc. Every white shirt has a green shirt labeled onto him. The paint is picketed with two greenies.
Jimmy gets fouled on this play but there are FOUR green shirts closer to the basket than any ONE white shirt.
The "Celtics" were totally dialed in in this game. You can see how focused they were. The "Heat" were not; they were standing around like the "Celtics" were in G3.
Kevin love started both halves and he "Heat" can say all they want that Kevin Love was healthy but math don't lie. He played 12' the whole game, 8th on the team. The "Heat" got no help from Spo's toolbox tonight except C-Martin. Jimmy could not dominate. The aforementioned Lovey Dovey Turtle Dovey, and Bam, only 10 points and 5 rebounds and subs, Kyle and Donut--all 4 gave us nothing. But I don't blame them individually or collectively for their offense. The "Heat" got away from their identity tonight, disruptive, annoying, will-sapping defense. Jimmy and Shaquille O'Neal have said this series that the "Heat" always play the same way: hard. I didn't sense that from following the play-by-play. Look, just a couple of games after Spo said on an open mic in a huddle, "They only way they can beat us is with the 3," that's exactly how Boston beat us tonight. The "Heat" defense was atrocious overall, letting Beans shoot 51.2% but the key long range shooting that Spo warned against was, to JoeMaz' supreme credit, the clear game plan coming in, they were going to live or by by the 3, and by God, they lived and prospered! 45 shots from downtown, 18 successful ones, 54 HUGE points, outscoring Miami by 20 with just that shot. That was the game! A net +20 just from behind the arc and a 17-point defeat. We were uncharacteristically sloppy with the ball, +6 t.o.s leading to +13 for Beans off those turnovers. We out-rebounded them but they still took +6 more shots than we did: those turnovers. No, we didn't play the same way that we always do tonight and that, more than anything with this "Heat" team, means defense. We didn't play "Heat" defense. We are going to win this series. We just didn't do it tonight.

FT Miami 99 Boston 116
AP for ESPN:
Jimmy Butler scored 29 for Miami, which led by nine in the second half before getting outscored 48-22 in a 14-minute stretch that turned the game — and perhaps the series — completely around. Boston would also have Game 7 on its floor as well if it can keep extending this series.
Not happening AP.
