Justice Merchan sent a letter to all counsel in IllegiTrump's 34C trial informing them that it had just been brought to his attention that a person calling himself Michael Anderson had posted the below on the New York Clerk website on May 29:
“My cousin is a juror and says Trump is getting convicted.
“Thank you folks for all your hard work!!!!”
MAGA IQs went nuts.
"Mistrial!" "Dismiss the case!" & etc.
The legit press and thinking observers did some digging around and scrutinizing. Attorney Andrew Weissman was immediately suspicious, X'ing,
"This happens in every high profile case I've seen."
Politico traced the post to an account of an individual who regularly trolls the New York State court system.
Then, the real thing posted:
"Take it easy, I'm a professional shitposter." What a shitposter is is self-explanatory to those of normal IQ but sensing the limitations of his troll targets, which I will describe as “Cambria County”, the poster spelled it out for them: One who posts content that is “aggressively, ironically and trollishly poor quality.” Poor quality: yes, he nailed his targets. “Shitposts are generally intentionally designed to derail discussions or cause the biggest reaction with the least effort.”
