Rep. Pat Ryan, Moderate Front-Liner, Calls on Biden to Step Aside

Mr. Ryan, the eighth member of Congress to publicly call on President Biden to drop out of the race, said Mr. Biden seemed incapable of making a case against Donald Trump.

 

He urged his party to consider a brief, open competition to replace Mr. Biden on the ballot.

Okay, I'm down with that, if some Black leaders join. I am NOT going to shaft them. As stated repeatedly over two weeks, on the "moral" questions, I think the president is unfit. The mechanism proposed here satisfies me to make the practical-->moral decision, who has the best chance to beat Trump. After all, Biden can’t, he’s 3.3 points behind in July! He’ll lose in a landslide!🙄 I will vote for whosever name is on the Democratic line on the ballot.
