Putting aside dollars and cents, the story of Mr. Trump’s war in its first six months can be told in five numbers: Sixty-three, 12, 1.10, 18 and 759.

63: percent public opposition to Iran War.
...reminiscent of the darkest days of the Vietnam War.

12: ... the number of ships passing through the Strait of Hormuz each day...compared with 130 before the war.

1.10: ...average price of gas increase since in the United States the start of fighting.

18: ...American military personnel killed so far in the war.

759: ...the estimated number of Patriot interceptors left in U.S. arsenal, down from 2,330...

Since this is a joint U.S.-Israeli war, I would add another number:

62: Percentage of American adults who hold an unfavorable view of the Israeli government, up from 43% in 2022.
