Judge Kelly found wholeheartedly that Pride Bois ended the U.S. practice of peaceful transfer of power but nonetheless,

the Proud Boys’ conduct, while “extremely serious,” wasn’t the same as trying to “blow up a skyscraper.”

It was the minimal loss of life that was foremost in the judge’s sentencing. Hard to fault that.
