For president and vice president. OR the first Google image for french crystal.

William Kristol's Man

It would be great if Romney chose to run... It would be great if former vice-presidential candidates Joe Lieberman [OH!] or Paul Ryan, or former cabinet officials like Mitch Daniels or Condoleezza Rice [OH!] or former presidential hopefuls like Marco Rubio or Jeb Bush, [Even him, more so Joe! though. Jeez, I think "Joe!," maybe just "Joe" actually was his campaign wordmark...2004?] or current governors like Nikki Haley or Susana Martinez chose to run. They would all start from positions of relative strength.

But even as polls show an amazing level of public receptivity to such an independent effort, even as Donald Trump makes his unfitness for office more manifest every time he speaks, even as Hillary Clinton's unfitness for office is made more obvious by a report from the Obama administration's State Department inspector general, even as all this happens .  .  . major public figures may choose not to run.
...

Yet the fact of Trump's and Clinton's unfitness for the Oval Office has become so self-evident that it's no longer clear one needs a famous figure to provide an alternative.

So the alternative to Trump and Clinton could be a not-terribly-well-known but capable congressman like Mike Pompeo or Adam Kinzinger. It could be a respected former senator like Judd Gregg or Mel Martinez. Or the leader of the resistance could turn out to be someone who hasn't yet held elective office. [ARE YOU STUPID?! THAT'S WHAT YOUR PARTY HAS GIVEN US, among other things, WITH TRUMP! CAN'T YOU COME UP WITH ONE MOTHER-FUCKER FOR POTUS WHO HAS BEEN ELECTED DOG CATCHER? HOW 'BOUT YOUR OLD BOSS QUALYE, does that have an "e" on the end?]

Take David French...[YOU TAKE DAVID FRENCH! WHY DON'T YOU RUN, YOU FRIGGING IDIOT?!...Jeez, Kristol, if David French ran and chose you for veep the ticket would be known as "French-Kristol," do you get it?] The fortysomething French is a best-selling author, an attorney, and a combat veteran of Iraq. A graduate of David Lipscomb College in Nashville and then of Harvard Law School, his legal practice made him one of the nation's leading defenders of free speech on campus. He is the author or coauthor of several books, including, most recently, Rise of ISIS: A Threat We Can't Ignore. In 2007, having volunteered for military service, French deployed to Iraq, serving in Diyala Province as Squadron Judge Advocate for the 2nd Squadron, 3rd Armored Cavalry Regiment, where he was awarded the Bronze Star. He lives with his wife and children in Columbia, Tennessee, and is a writer for National Review.

...To say that he would be a better and a more responsible president than Hillary Clinton or Donald Trump is to state a truth that would become self-evident as more Americans got to know him. There are others like him. There are thousands of Americans who—despite a relative lack of fame or fortune—would be manifestly superior to our current choices. And there are many, many others who stand ready to help whoever emerges to have the basic resources, assistance, and infrastructure to mount a credible effort.

Would such an effort be extraordinary? Yes, indeed. But America is an extraordinary nation. And as our most extraordinary (and one of our most unlikely) president remarked, "I happen temporarily to occupy this big White House. I am a living witness that any one of your children may look to come here as my father's child has. It is in order that each of you may have through this free government which we have enjoyed, an open field and a fair chance for your industry, enterprise and intelligence—that you may all have equal privileges in the race of life, with all its desirable human aspirations—it is for this that the struggle should be maintained. .  .  . The nation is worth fighting for, to secure such an inestimable jewel." [An inestimable jewel cut in french crystal?]
Presidential candidates used to "balance the ticket" ideologically. Presidents often appoint ambassadors (Jon Huntsman) and Supreme Court nom...Man, Huntsman, Obama's ambassador to China, would be UNBELIEVABLE! But Huntsman came out favorably for Trump, not endorsed, Trump would not know who he was, but spoke favorably of Trump as I recall. I can't think of an inter-party balanced ticket though. Trump messes with Republican heads and there sure are a lot of messed up Republicans out there (Glenn Beck and a guest talked on the electronic radio machine "hypothetically" of assassinating Trump were he to turn out to be a Trumpist president. A punch, Beck, not a whack job, Jeezus, be reasonable. (Beck has been suspended from further hypothesizing on the electronic radio machine.))

By (almost) Any Means Necessary

Would it make sense for Hillary Clinton to choose a bona fide conservative Republican as her running mate? As a National Unity ticket?...No? Alright, then.

U.S. State Department Advisory.

Europe Travel Alert

LAST UPDATED: MAY 31, 2016
As part of the State Department’s continuous efforts to provide Americans travelling abroad with information about relevant events, we are alerting U.S. citizens to the risk of potential terrorist attacks throughout Europe, targeting major events, tourist sites, restaurants, commercial centers and transportation. The large number of tourists visiting Europe in the summer months will present greater targets for terrorists planning attacks in public locations, especially at large events. This Travel Alert expires August 31, 2016.
France will host the European Soccer Championship from June 10 – July 10. Euro Cup stadiums, fan zones, and unaffiliated entertainment venues broadcasting the tournaments in France and across Europe represent potential targets for terrorists, as do other large-scale sporting events and public gathering places throughout Europe. France has extended its state of emergency through July 26 to cover the period of the soccer championship, as well as the Tour de France cycling race which will be held from July 2- 24.
The Catholic Church’s World Youth Day event is expected to draw up to 2.5 million visitors to Krakow, Poland, between July 26 and July 31. U.S. citizens should be aware that local infrastructure may be strained due to the large number of visitors. Poland will impose border controls at all of its national borders from July 4 to August 2, and visitors to Poland during this period should be prepared to show their passport and undergo stricter security screening throughout Poland.  More information to help prepare for travel to World Youth Day can be found at https://pl.usembassy.gov/world-youth-day-2016/ and https://travel.state.gov/content/passports/en/go/youthday.html.
U.S. citizens should also:
  • Exercise vigilance when in public places or using mass transportation.
  • Be aware of immediate surroundings and avoid crowded places.
  • Follow the instructions of local authorities, especially in an emergency.
  • Monitor media and local event information sources and factor updated information into your travel plans and activities.
  • Be prepared for additional security screening and unexpected disruptions.
  • Stay in touch with your family, have a plan if you are separated and ensure they know how to reach you in the event of an emergency.
European authorities continue to take steps to assure public safety and disrupt terrorist plots. We work closely with our allies and will continue to share information with our European partners that will help identify and counter terrorist threats.

I hope @realDonaldTrump's nervousness about an independent candidacy doesn't affect his composure.

I hope my mention of an independent candidate didn't distract him while paying respects during whichever Memorial Day ceremony he attended.

That means would work! And you can take it from Disco Donald and the Lowlifes themselves whose reaction is accurately characterized thusly by thefiscaltimes.com:

Trump Hits the Panic Button at the Hint of a Third Party Run

Bill Kristol has been wrong for 2yrs-an embarrassed loser, but if the GOP can't control their own, then they are not a party. Be tough, R's!

The Republican Party has to be smart & strong if it wants to win in November. Can't allow lightweights to set up a spoiler Indie candidate!

If dummy Bill Kristol actually does get a spoiler to run as an Independent, say good bye to the Supreme Court!
4:02 PM - 29 May 2016
That's three tweets by the twit in nine minutes, that's the panic button.
Lowlife trumpet Breitbart played this synchronous tune:
“The Kristol attack on the Republican Party and its presumptive candidate Donald Trump is an attack on all Americans and needs to be seen in that light.”

I, an American, do not feel under "attack" at all! I do feel an orgasm coming on which I would like to spew all over the faces of Disco Donald and the Lowlifes.

I'm taking down my hosanna to you you fucking fuck. Not you Edward, that fucking fuck Holder.

I don't like you anymore.

Oh!

"Now, I would say doing what he did in the way he did it was inappropriate and illegal.

"He's got to make a decision. He's broken the law. In my view, he needs to get lawyers, come on back and decide what he wants to do -- go to trial, try to cut a deal.

"But in deciding what an appropriate sentence should be, a judge could take into account the usefulness of having that national debate."

Betcha Obama amnesties or pardons Snowden before he leaves office. Betcha he does.

"We can certainly argue about the way in which Snowden did what he did, but I think that he actually performed a public service by raising the debate that we engaged in and by the changes that we made."-Former Attorney General Eric Holder
