Trump Is Going To Get Crushed In Wisconsin

His abortion fiasco today is going to kill him.

1. Insisting that the woman must be punished criminally is not a position that any pro-life group advocates.

2. It's how he really feels. As his preposterous defense of Corey Lewandowski was how he really felt. Both about women. Utilitarian objects, arm candy, servants, necessary annoyances.

3. It had to be dragged out of him. Major high-five to Chris Matthews for not letting Trump weasel his way out.

4. He said it! And more than once. And "He" is the most important word there because "his campaign" did the walk-back, in a prepared statement, "He" did not. That makes him look, even to his most ardent supporters, like the coward he is. HE'S A PUSSY!

5. With the walk-back he now sounds, even to his most ardent supporters, like "just another politician," one whose statements need walking-back, whose statements don't change, they "evolve."

6. It reveals him to be, as The New York Times interview did on foreign policy, as Ted Cruz said today, someone who "hasn't seriously thought through the issues." AND WHO DOESN'T KNOW SHIT!

Mrs. Clinton, I do apologize for these bad words, I can't help it, I'm ethnic Asshole.* Why would a just God give us bad words if he she did not intend us to use them?

*ps, I was quoting Trump with the P****

Trump: Ban Abortion;"some form of punishment" For Women Who Have Abortions.*

CHRIS MATTHEWS: “Should abortion be punished? This is not something you can dodge.”

TRUMP: Look, people in certain parts of the Republican Party, conservative Republicans, would say, ‘Yes, it should,’

MATTHEWS: How about you?

TRUMP: I would say it’s a very serious problem and it’s a problem we have to decide on. Are you going to send them to jail?”

MATTHEWS: I’m asking you.

TRUMP: I am pro-life.

MATTHEWS: How do you actually ban abortion?

TRUMP: Well, you go back to a position like they had where they would perhaps go to illegal places but we have to ban it. There has to be some form of punishment.

MATTHEWS: For the woman?

TRUMP: Yeah (nodding head)

MATTHEWS: Do you believe in punishment for abortion, yes or no, as a principle?

TRUMP: The answer is there has to be some form of punishment.

MATTHEWS: For the woman?

MATTHEWS: 10 cents, 10 years, what?

TRUMP: I don’t know. That I don’t know.

Trump was also asked if the man should be held responsible. "Different feelings. Different people," Trump responded. "I would say no."

*UPDATE: "Trump Advocates Abortion Ban, Walks Back 'Punishment' for Women Remark"-NBC

GREEN BAY, Wisconsin — After saying on Wednesday that he believes there should be punishment for women who undergo abortions if the procedure was outlawed, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump walked back the comment hours later.

In an exclusive interview with MSNBC's Chris Matthews, the GOP front-runner described himself multiple times as "pro-life" but struggled to define what the legal ramifications of that position should be. When continually pressed for what the answer is regarding punishing women who would break any theoretical ban, Trump said the "answer is that there has to be some form of punishment, yeah."

Later in the day, his campaign released a statement refocusing who would be punished should abortion become illegal. "If Congress were to pass legislation making abortion illegal and the federal courts upheld this legislation, or any state were permitted to ban abortion under state and federal law, the doctor or any other person performing this illegal act upon a woman would be held legally responsible, not the woman," the statement said. "The woman is a victim in this case as is the life in her womb. My position has not changed — like Ronald Reagan, I am pro-life with exceptions."

Trump, you have weird definitions of things: "tape," "statement," "grab," "shout," now, "My position has not changed." IT HAS CHANGED YOU JACKANAPES! IT CHANGED FROM THIS MORNING TO THIS EVENING!
It's a beautiful day in the neighborhood,

One, two, three, four. Like fingers. Michelle Fields' arm.

AND, there was audio at the time. She made an "excited utterence," admissable evidence, that the grab was "so hard." AND, there was at least one eyewitness, a Washington Post reporter. AND, speaking of statements Trump, your punk Lewandowski called Fields "delusional" AND SAID IN A TWEET TO FIELDS "I NEVER TOUCHED YOU."

I take back my "Really?" She was absolutely correct in pressing charges and the police were absolutely correct to arrest and charge Lewandowski. He's guilty, case closed.

Prominent Man Arrested In Florida For Battery of Woman

Guilty, I'm guilty. Guilty. I plead guilty.

Trump campaign manager charged with battery

Oh! I am not Trump's campaign manager...

Corey Lewandowski. Charged with grabbing reporter Michelle Fields by the arm, causing bruising. In Florida.

"Actually and intentionally touches or strikes another person against the will of the other."

That is the definition of battery in Florida. A new video angle corroborates Ms. Field's, say the gendarme.

Really? That's it? I had to watch three or four times to see anything. The loop is jerky, it's hard to see. I did finally see him grab her arm. Really? That's the tell-tale tape, the whole battery? Boy. I don't know about that.

"Actually and intentionally touches or strikes another person against the will of the other."

Ms. Fields resigned from Breitbart News after that medium, a Trumpist medium, didn't back her. At least one other reporter resigned in solidarity.

Well it's not even noon Eastern and Trump's campaign manager has been arrested for battery and hired a lawyer who once bit a stripper
8:44 AM - 29 Mar 2016

I did not hire a lawyer who once bit a stripper...that I know of!

Wow, Corey Lewandowski, my campaign manager and a very decent man, was just charged with assaulting a reporter. Look at tapes-nothing there!

Hold on a second there, Trump, there is something there. It is not much that I can see but there is a "touching or striking," and it is clearly against Michelle Fields' "will," i.e. she didn't ask him "Will
you take me by the arm and escort me?"

Why aren't people looking at this reporters earliest statement as to what happened, that is before she found out the episode was on tape?

BECAUSE IT'S ON TAPE YOU FUCKING MORON! Why would anyone look to her earlier or earliest statement? She could have said, "He kicked and punched me!," it doesn't matter when THE TAPE shows an unconsented-to touching. IDIOT!

Victory press conference was over. Why is she allowed to grab me and shout questions? Can I press charges?

Is that what that still shows, Trump? I can see both her hands, right hand holding a phone, left hand at her side. Did she "grab" you before that, is that why you are pulling your arm away like a PUSSY! If she did, go ahead Trump, try to get her arrested, I hope it's on better evidence than that still. She's "shouting" questions at you, Trump? That does not seem to show her shouting.*

This was the reporters statement- when she found out there was tape from my facility, she changed her tune.

It does N-O-T matter, MO-RON. The tape DOES show her jolted backwards; DOES show her being GRABBED TIGHTLY, YANKED, but not down, not "almost fell to the ground," the tape does not show that, she does not look "shaken" after the battery BUT THE TAPE SHOWS A BATTERY, a minimal, very minimal battery, SO IT DOESN'T MATTER WHAT SHE SAID!

Really, Ms. Fields? You had the guy arrested for that?...Okay, what about the bruising. The tape is jerky, it still shows a forceful grabbing and if she was bruised then it would be more forceful than it even appears. If she was bruised, okay. She had a long-sleeve sweater on over her top also, she was not bare-armed, so if she was bruised through a long-sleeved outer garment then you can't say no harm no foul-NOT THAT HARM IS REQUIRED-that would flesh out the forcefulness of the grab.

I wish to point out, in addition, that even if a lawyer bit a stripper, there may be extenuating circumstances, perhaps called for some contact, you know, I mean sometimes they do! I'm told! I don't know! I've just HEARD! In addition, I also UNDERSTAND that some individuals of the perverted persuasion engage in sadomasochistic behavior when in the throws of passion. Ever hearda "tiger stripes?" I hadn't either until...I received some. EVER BEEN the act? For the sake of argument, purely as a forensic exercise, assume for the purposes of this exposition that one was, and repeatedly, in the same goddamned spot too, and-Mrs. Clinton, I apologize for subjecting you to this spectacle, don't look, avert your gaze.-that it HURTS like a mo-fo, and that it caused BRUISING that lasted for practically the whole goddamned "relationship"  Assume that. So yeah.

Shoot-Out At The Q!

The Flaming Emirates

For the fourth time in three years a residential skyscraper in the United Arab Emirates has gone up in flames. Monday it was the Ajman One, 12 towers, now 10; New Year's Eve, "The Address" hotel in Dubai;

February 2015, a hotel, "The Torch," appropriately enough;

November 2012, the 34-story Tamweel residential tower.

Hillary Clinton for America

To my daughter: "Trump and the whole GOP just sicken me. I will absolutely vote this November, I thought I would sit it out, but nobody with a conscience or a care for this country can sit this one out. I am 1,000,000% behind Hillary and will vote for her gleefully."

Never Mind

The gumshoes have successfully hacked the San Bernardino Muslim terrorist's iPhone. They are withdrawing their application to force Apple to do it.

“The government has now successfully accessed the data stored on Farook’s iPhone and therefore no longer requires the assistance from Apple."
All this said, I have to add that I don’t know if more fact-checking would have mattered. Tom Brokaw of NBC did outstanding work challenging Trump, but he says that when journalists have indeed questioned Trump’s untrue statements, nothing much happens: “His followers find fault with the questions, not with his often incomplete, erroneous or feeble answers.”

Likewise, Bob Schieffer of CBS tells me: “I’m not sure more fact-checking would have changed that much. We’re in a new world where attitude seems to count more than facts.”

There you go. It wouldn't have mattered. It didn't matter with my brother. Trump has a svengali-like hold on his supporters. As Olivia Nuzzi tweeted, "They don't care" about Trump's policy proposals, they wouldn't have cared about fact-checking. They see Trump as "someone who is not going to let them get screwed over." There is a market for an authoritarian personality with mean, racist, rhetoric in American politics, there has been for a very long time. "We're voting with our middle finger" one Trumpist said to the Washington Post. The Trumpists enjoy scaring other people; they welcome the destruction of the GOP; they relish appalling "the politically correct," as they see them; they crave the attention. They have felt ignored and forgotten in the Obama years. They want "their"-White-country back. They are ignorant, selfish, and racist. They are narcissists: "They don't care." There is no more to understanding this than all of that but to understand that truly is to put the understanding where it belongs, on Trump supporters. They must not be "understood" further, not pandered to, not courted!; no sensitive feel-their-pain study. They have been ignored and forgotten, they contribute nothing, they have nothing to contribute! They should be ignored and forgotten. And they will be ignored and forgotten again. After they are routed. They have now grouped themselves together under Trump who they feed and from whom they draw sustenance. They are easy to identify. "Let one hundred flowers bloom," Mao Zedong said. The better to cut off their heads. The Trumpists will be politically destroyed, utterly.
We wrongly treated Trump as a farce. “The media made a mistake by covering Trump’s candidacy at the start as some sort of joke or media prank,” notes Danielle S. Allen, a political scientist at Harvard. “The repeated use of references to ‘the Donald’ across all platforms structured the conversation around ironical affection for a celebrity rather than around serious conversation of character and policy.”

“Trump was quite literally a laugh line,” says Ralph Begleiter, a former CNN correspondent and communications professor at the University of Delaware. Begleiter notes that Sarah Palin received more serious vetting as a running mate in 2008 than Trump has as a presidential candidate.

I personally made the mistake of regarding Trump’s candidacy as a stunt, scoffing at the idea that he could be the nominee. Mea culpa.

No, no mea culpa. What this mea culpa misses is the Trumpists, Trump's voters. They saw that the media didn't take Trump seriously, even if they covered him extravagantly. It didn't matter to the Trumpists.
When the fact-check website PolitiFact was ready to choose its “lie of the year” for 2015, it found that the only real contenders were falsehoods by Trump. So it lumped them together and awarded the title to “the many campaign misstatements of Donald Trump.”

All politicians spin, of course. But all in all, I’ve never met a national politician in the U.S. who is so ill informed, evasive, puerile and deceptive as Trump.

Madness Goodness

Goodness gracious, the Syracuse "Orange," a ten seed, beat the orange-clad University of Virginny, a one seed, in the NCAA basketball tourney to reach the Final Four. Syracuse trailed by sixteen pernts at half-time and came all the way back, and more, to win 68-62. Syracuse will play the winner of Notre Dame du Lac North Carolina du Apple Chill in in an all-ACC F.F., guaranteeing the conference a spot in the Final Two for the Final One. Sucks to be a Virginia "Cadaver" tonight.

Petitioning Quicken Loans Arena and 6 others

Allow Open Carry of Firearms at the Quicken Loans Arena during the RNC Convention in July.

SUMMARY: In July of 2016, the GOP will host its convention at the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio. Though Ohio is an open carry state, which allows for the open carry of guns, the hosting venue—the Quicken Loans Arena—strictly forbids the carry of firearms on their premises.
According to the policy on their website, "firearms and other weapons of any kind are strictly forbidden on the premises of Quicken Loans Arena."
This is a direct affront to the Second Amendment and puts all attendees at risk. As the National Rifle Association has made clear, "gun-free zones" such as the Quicken Loans Arena are "the worst and most dangerous of all lies." The NRA, our leading defender of gun rights, has also correctly pointed out that "gun free zones... tell every insane killer in America... (the) safest place to inflict maximum mayhem with minimum risk." (March 4, 2016 and Dec. 21, 2012)
Cleveland, Ohio is consistently ranked as one of the top ten most dangerous cities in America. By forcing attendees to leave their firearms at home, the RNC and Quicken Loans Arena are putting tens of thousands of people at risk both inside and outside of the convention site.
This doesn't even begin to factor in the possibility of an ISIS terrorist attack on the arena during the convention. Without the right to protect themselves, those at the Quicken Loans Arena will be sitting ducks, utterly helpless against evil-doers, criminals or others who wish to threaten the American way of life.
All three remaining Republican candidates have spoken out on the issue and are unified in their opposition to Barack HUSSEIN Obama's "gun-free zones."
Donald Trump said "I will get rid of gun-free zones on schools—you have—and on military bases on my first day. It gets signed my first know what a gun-free zone is to a sicko? That's bait." (Jan. 8. 2016)
Ted Cruz has accurately pointed out "shooting after shooting after shooting happens in so called gun-free zones." He continued, "look, if you're a lunatic ain't nothing better then having a bunch of targets you know that are going to be unarmed." (Dec. 4, 2015)
And Ohio Governor John Kasichhas been a leader in this movement to eliminate deadly "gun-free zones" starting with his brave decision to fight the Democrats and end "gun-free zones" at National Guard facilities in Ohio. (Dec. 18, 2015)
We are all too familiar with the mass carnage that can occur when citizens are denied their basic God-given rights to carry handguns or assault weapons in public. EVERY AMERICAN HAS THE RIGHT TO PROTECT AND DEFEND THEIR FAMILY. With this irresponsible and hypocritical act of selecting a "gun-free zone" for the convention, the RNC has placed its members, delegates, candidates and all US citizens in grave danger.
We must take a stand. We cannot allow the national nominating convention of the party of Lincoln and Reagan to be hijacked by weakness and political correctness. The policies of the Quicken Loans Arena do not supersede the rights given to us by our Creator in the U.S. Constitution.
1. From the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland: A suspension of their policy preventing the open carry of firearms on the premises of the arena from July 18-21, 2016 to coincide with the Republican National Convention.
2. From the National Rifle Association: An immediate condemnation of the egregious affront to the Second Amendment of the United States Constitution constituted by the "gun-free zone" loophole to the state law.
3. From Ohio Governor John Kasich: A concerted effort to use his executive authority to override the "gun-free zone" loophole being exploited by the Quicken Loans Arena in Cleveland, Ohio.
4. From Reince Priebus and the Republican National Committee: An explanation of how a venue so unfriendly to Second Amendment rights was chosen for the Republican Convention. Further, we demand a contingency plan to relocate the convention to another location should the Quicken Loans Arena refuse to honor the constitutional rights of the RNC guests to open carry firearms during the convention.
5. From all Republican candidates for President: You have been brave in raising awareness about the immense dangers posed by "gun-free zones." In order to ensure the safety of your supporters, delegates and all attendees at the convention in July, you must call upon the RNC to rectify this affront to our Second Amendment freedoms and insist upon a suspension of the Quicken Loans Arena's unconstitutional "gun-free zone" loophole. Every American is endowed with a God-given Constitutional right to carry a gun wherever and whenever they please.
