I'm taking a step back from a race that I cannot vote in and paid almost no attention to until last weekend. Haley Stevens is good people. Solid, nice. She makes me proud to be a Democrat, especially compared to virtually every Republican candidate or person. I have confessed that I have had last-minute difficulty getting a grasp on the politics of Abdul El-Sayed. But what an accomplished man. Michigan, Oxford, Columbia, a Rhodes Scholar, MD, and epidemiologist. Only 41 years old.
Haley and Abdul are the best of the best. I am so proud to be a Democrat.
