How could the police miss this inside a duffel bag left on the ground at the finish line of the Boston Marathon? They couldn't have missed it if they were doing their jobs. They weren't doing their jobs. This was a terrorist attack that the police should have foiled, and they failed. Basic security, and the police failed to provide even basic security. The police failed.
