When you look at a logo you should be able to have some CLUE what organization it symbolizes, no?

Here we have logos in addition to wordmarks. What is that logo that looks like Woody Woodpecker with pronounced teeth and what is SEMO? Like I’m supposed to know that, like it’s ICBM OR FDIC? And what’s that big blue dumbbell standing on end and that pimple in the middle? What’s AMCC, American Motors Cash Considerations?

Okay, so the bird is some kind of predator, a hawk, and the dinosaur teeth in miniature are not teeth at all but that infernal, inscrutable, SEMO? Thank you very not much.

That is the logo for the Southeast Missouri State “Red Hawks”. 🖕 

And the dumbbell is a fat I pregnant with a wave. For some reason. Thst is the logo for the Texas A&M at Corpus Christi “Islanders”. 🖕🖕

 

However esteemed these two fine institutions of higher education, they manifestly lack a graphic design department.
