It is the end of the 15th day of Kamala's campaign. She hasn't stopped running, hasn't stopped being vice president since. It could not have gone any better. She has literally lapped Trumpie in the polls like he has been standing still. For the first time in this entire election cycle, since Sept. 11, 2023 the Democrat leads in the presidential polls. That is right: President Biden did not have a lead in the last almost 11 months.
All eyes and ears have been on Kamala.
Trumpie's attempted assassination has receded into the background like the echo from the Big Bang as the universe hurtles away at the speed of light.
Biden's withdrawal is a distant memory.
Kamala has knocked all of the air out of Trumpie who doesn't know where the sucker punch came from.
Now we're in the last breathless hours before Kamala's v.p. reveal. Another frisson. Another spike in the polling Richter scale.
Then a seven states in five days jetting. Wheels up, wheels down, but no time for a sit down. Not stopping now, keep on jettin'.
And then, a four-day political orgy of love in Chicago.
On to September!...and Trumpie's sentencing in Manhattan on the 18th. Maybe he can get a compassionate release from the judge or his probation officer to attend her inaugural.
