"We literally are a third-world nation."

In speeches, Kamala has said, "I can remember a time when the Republican Party stood for freedom." Tim Walz has said, "You go to Yale, then Silicon Valley, then write a book trashing where you grew up." Trumpie and Couch affect a doom and gloom fake love of America that masks their hate for America. There is a pithy stump speech, perhaps a one-line question for viewers along the lines of "Are you better off now," etc. that ties these themes together, but I have written too many lines Buzzwords underlined.

"I can remember a time when the Republican Party used to stand for patriotism. 'America, Love it or Leave it'. Not today. Donald Trump's says "We literally are a third-world country". "We"? You got a rat in your pocket? Trump says "We are a 'banana republic'. He says America is "dying". That's a weird patriotism. Those are hateful things to say about our country. That is a fake patriotism that is an insult to real patriots. Trump does not love America and he won't leave it. He loves only himself...and maybe Putin."
