Harris said Trump “sold us out” by selling chips to China, a move she claimed invited a trade war. The jab came as she sought to highlight the efforts under the Biden administration to invest in artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies.

Trump denied Harris’s accusation, saying the U.S. “hardly make[s] chips anymore” due to the Democrats’ policies.
