Joel Embiid took an errant elbow to the face last night and crumpled to the floor. Sinus fracture.

It's sad. Joel is one of the good guys. There is an element of tragedy to his career. He's a magnet for injuries but it's not just the injuries. Joel appears to be to have almost prematurely aged, like what once was a fun game to him is now a torture test. During games he will get off the bench or up from the floor so laboriously that you feel that he's on his last legs. He walks hunched over--like me if I do anything too strenuos like go get the mail--breathing hard. Last year he was diagnosed with Bell's Palsy. I seriously a litttle bit worry about Joel sometimes that we're going to lose him prematurely.
