We studied for almost three hours today at FIU. D-2 did fabulously well. She's nailing thyroid. We're making progress on endocrine in long strides.

My cleaning lady was at my place today, hence the road trip to FIU. I put all of my casual clothes in the hamper for her to wash and wore my baggiest, most comfortable suit, a chalk-striped "pimp" suit that I have had for 25 years. When we left today I stopped in the Starbucks in the library. Ana and I were talking and I noticed the student who was microwaving my pastries peak over her shoulder at me. "Looking good. As always." she said. She was a Black young woman.

That suit is the only suit that I have ever gotten compliments on from strangers. Walking to court one time was the first time if I remember correctly. Several other times. Perfect strangers, men but mostly women. To the person, every one a Black person.😁
