Tackling scholars from West Point and Temple fought an engagement last night. Temple is coming off one of its best years ever, a win over Paterno Sandusky University, a marvelous, close loss to the "Fighting Potato Eaters" of Notre Dame du Lac with ESPN Gameday present, 10 wins and a bowl game.
For Army, it'a been a black night on the Hudson for a quarter century. They're terrible, have always been terrible; can't beat Navy even though the games are always played on land; were 2-10 last year.
So this was a lopsided affair; Temple was a 21 point favorite.
