LOS ANGELES -- After the Los Angeles Lakers blew yet another double-digit lead before losing to the Sacramento Kings 141-137 in triple-overtime Friday...L.A. dropped below .500 with a quarter of the season in the books.
I rhetorically asked "What's going on with LBJ?" in a recent post. Maybe it's fucking frustration with the course of the team. He took the blame for this one but they are below .500 and "a quarter of the season" is gone. They are far too good to be below .500 at any point. That's gonna irritate a guy. If this doesn't turn around soon Jeannie Buss or whoever's making the decisions out there is going to have to look at making a coaching change over Christmas.
