It looks like Jim Jordan is going to get the 217 votes from the Republican caucus to become Speaker of the House. The Politico article linked doesn't say that but reading between the lines, between Jordan's "bullying", his Repube opponents' wishy-washyness in defying them, the firm statements of Kevin McCarthy and Patrick McHenry that "Jordan will be speaker" and Repube fatigue at the whole speaker drama, I read Jordan will get it.
