- A Federal Protective Service briefing email reports that about 300 Proud Boys are at the Capitol, a man in a tree near the Ellipse is holding what looks like a rifle, and some of the 25,000 people around the White House are hiding bags in bushes.[140] The email warns that the Proud Boys are threatening to shut down the downtown water system.[140]
- Between 12 and 1 p.m., the National Park Service detains someone with a rifle.[174]
