Geez, another one at 8: BC (2-1)-East Lansing Spartak (3-0).
I'll be interested to see how many votes Pitt gets for Top-25 tomorrow or Monday, whenever AP's rankings come out. On the one hand, Y-State was a FCS opponent and are awful this year. They were 25-point dogs. On the other, Pitt sorta covered and Y-State. And scored 73. And they're now 4-0. How many P4 teams are 4-0? How many won on the road at a P4 team whose only loss was to the "Panthers"? How many won their big rivalry game? How many had two miraculous comebacks to win, laid a double nickle on another opponent (admittedly awful, as well) and just put 73 on another? How many other schools have won as many different ways?
There is no way in hell that Pitt, getting only tyoo votes last week, is going to leap into the T-25 but objectively, I don't think there are 25 better college football teams than the Pitt "Panthers".
