With a promising new quarterback the city's college tackle football team, the, "Panthers", were 7-0 and ranked 17th more than half-way through its season. They then lost six straight. 

With a promising new quarterback the city's professional tackle football team, the, "Steelers", were 10-3 and had an iron grip on their division more than three-quarters through its season. And then they lost four straight.

Tackle football is king in Pittsburgh and this year the king has no clothes.
