He nails what I feel. Nobody can ever make me dislike Jimmy. ππ«Ά
The Jimmy Butler era is officially the past, and like anything beginning to fade we hold on to the memories, the good and the bad, that meant something to us – Game 5 against the Lakers, Game 6 against Boston and Game 4 against Milwaukee but also the three that could have been in Game 7 against Boston. Butler’s masterpiece, the game which could be written into poem, may have been that magnificent comeback against the Bucks as a No. 8 seed, but throughout his tenure the HEAT were something incredibly unique, a team which earned a host of emotions from fans of all fanbases, a team that was as emotionally relevant across the sport as it was fundamentally on the court. The Butler era may not have brought a title, but it offered the same feelings, those felt in your throat and your chest and your stomach, that arrive with the best moments the sport has to offer.
