The "Celtics" earned my respect last season by winning the title and my disdain for them disappeared.

However last night brought the disdain back. They hoisted up 60 3-pointers, a NBA playoff record. And missed 45 of them. They made 25%. Whoever your opponent is, 25% is 25% when you had chucked up 20 or 30. The "Celtics" couldn't or wouldn't stop.

In so doing, the "Celtics" taught me a new reason to hate the 3-ball reliance and to revive my late hostility toward them: The 3-point shot is lazy. The "Celtics" are lazy. They don't want to run the extra 23'; they don't want to risk getting a boo-boo; they don't want to work as hard as you because they're more talented than you. Hard work is for the common people. It's just lazy fucking entitled bullshit to heave 60 bombs and have only 25% strike your target. The "Celtics" last night were what I disdained about them: privileged, blue-blood, We-don't-have-to-work-hard arrogant "Celtics" horseshit. Period there.
